Do you know that Japanese are aware about the other people’s blood type, they believe it’s really influenced their personalities.

Type A

Dari suatu forum didapat beberapa penjelasan ilmiah tentang manfaat berpelukan.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dikeluarkan oleh jurnal Psychosomatic Medicine, pelukan hangat dapat melepaskan oxytocin, hormon yang berhubungan dengan perasaan cinta dan kedamaian. Hormon tersebut akan menekan hormon penyebab stres yang awalnya mendekam di tubuh.

Untuk melakukan penelitian ini, Dr Karen Grewen, peneliti asal Universitas North Carolina mengumpulkan 38 pasangan dalam satu tempat. Ke-38 pasangan tersebut diminta untuk membicarakan hal-hal bahagia yang pernah mereka alami. Mereka juga diminta untuk menonton sebuah film romantis selama lima menit kemudian berpelukan selama 20 detik.

Sebelum semua kegiatan di atas dilakukan, Dr Karen dibantu rekan-rekannya melakukan pengukuran terhadap tekanan darah, tingkat stres dan jumlah hormon oxytocin. Hasilnya, tingkat stres semua orang yang diteliti berkurang. Hormon penyebab stres, cortisol dan norepinephrine, menurun jumlahnya karena tergantikan oleh hormon oxytocin. Dan hasil akhirnya bisa memberikan kontribusi untuk kesehatan jantung anda.

Penelitian tersebut juga menunjukan wanita lebih responsif untuk memeluk pasangannya. Menurut Dr Karen, hal itu terjadi karena oxytocin lebih memiliki hubungan dekat dengan hormon estrogen yang diproduksi wanita.

Tapi pelukan nggak selalu harus didapat dari pasangan. Buat anda yang jomblo alias single, pelukan dengan teman atau kucing kesayangan juga bisa mengurangi stres.

Bahkan di luar negeri banyak juga diadakan free hugs campaign, memeluk orang yang kita ga kenal di jalanan sebagai tanda kasih sayang dan kemanusiaan. tujuannya simple, (katanya) bukan syahwat, minta nomor hp atau nawarin ML. but making others feel better. klise banget, but it’s a beautiful reason isn’t it?.

Banyak yang sudah tahu dan akhirnya terinspirasi. and they do the same campaign in their country. Tapi di Indonesia mungkin gak ya… dengan masyarakat yang peka sekali terhadap hal-hal yang berbau seks. Sampe-sampe perlu ada UU pornografi dan pornoaksi segala. Menyedihkan kondisi negara ini. Belum lagi dengan aksi sekelompok orang yang mengatasnamakan agama dan mendukung adanya UU ini, tanpa tahu esensinya dan memikirkan bagaimana implikasinya nanti.

Duh ngomong apa sich, politik ato apa… yang jelas berpelukan bisa mengurangi stress dan tentunya bisa memperpanjang usia khan stress juga dapat menyebabkan penuaan dini pula terlepas dari pelukan itu dilakukan dalam konteks yang dapat menimbulkan dosa ato tidak. Bagi Anda yang gak mau aman ya lakukan dengan pasangan resmi Anda, atau lakukan dengan kawan sejenis (tidak berlaku untuk homo), ato binatang kesayangan, kucing kek… anjing kek… monyet kek…
